Anarchists can be considered a subset of socialists, as both ideologies share a focus on challenging hierarchical power structures and promoting equality. However, not all socialists are anarchists, as socialism encompasses a broader range of ideologies that advocate for varying degrees of state intervention in the economy. Anarchists reject the idea of a centralized state altogether, favoring decentralized, self-governing communities. **

Socialists believe in creating a more just and fair society where everyone has access to basic needs such as healthcare, education, and housing. While there are different interpretations and approaches within socialism, the common goal is to create a more equitable and inclusive society. **

True socialism emphasizes equality, democracy, and the empowerment of the working class, which were often not upheld by these dictators. Therefore, while they may have adopted some socialist rhetoric or policies, their overall governance did not align with the true principles of socialism. **
